Dehumidifiers

Working on the same principle as a refrigerator, moisture-filled air is drawn into the dehumidifier and passed over a cold, ‘refrigerated’ coil. The damp air condenses on the cold coil into water droplets which are collected in the water tank. The air is then passed over a warm coil and sent out from the dehumidifier, producing clean, dry air.

In cold conditions the water that is passed over the cold coil may freeze. So, it is important that a dehumidifier has an efficient way of coping with this. Mitsubishi Electric Oasis dehumidifiers utilise a hot gas defrost system, enabling hot gas to be transferred into the cold coil, reversing the freezing process. Without this, a dehumidifier would have rely on the temperature rising or employ a power drawing heating system.

Upon first use, your dehumidifier will have to start to remove moisture that has accumulated in the wall linings, carpet and furnishings. For this reason, it is important to run the dehumidifier constantly for the first few weeks. Once a healthy humidity level is reached, the dehumidifier can be used to simply maintain this.

      Moisture Removal

  • Our Oasis Series of dehumidifiers are amongst the most powerful available. Our range can remove up to 22L of moisture from your home per day (measured at 30°C with 80% relative humidity). And, with the ability to perform down to 1°C you can be assured it will perform year-round. Permanent drainage is also available for long term application.

Bio Gas Dehumidifiers

The main purpose behind using Bio Gas Dehumidifiers is that it is used for removing moisture from biogas and increases CHP efficiency. Moreover, these products also help in lowering fuel gas consumption and also lowering down the requirement of oil changes. The corrosion resistance body of the available range minimizes the long term maintenance costs. These dehumidifiers does not require extra space to get installed, thus can be incorporated into existing systems. A standard design comprises of gas to the cold water heat exchanger that is equipped with an industrial grade water chiller. By reducing the temperature, dehumidification happens and water vapors get condensed. The use of these dehumidifiers can enhance the service life of an engine and allow them to perform efficiently.

Desiccant Air Dryers

Micro heat regenerated adsorption dryer works in a twin-tower alternative operation mode. Compressed air enters the dryer’s tower A through valve 1A (1B is closed), then is dehydrated and dried under the unique adsorption action of the adsorbent. Finished gas flows to the gas using point through valve 5A (5B is closed); meanwhile about 5% dry air source enters tower B through valve 4B (4A is closed) after being heated by the heater, the adsorbent in which is regenerated after a certain period of heating. Cold blowing begins when heating is stopped, which cools down the adsorption bed in the dryer’s tower B (for use in the next cycle). Finally, the air is discharged into the atmosphere through muffler. Before switching in the second half period, turn off valve 2B and open valve 1B to equalize the pressure in the two towers (to ensure pressure stability when using the gas and avoid the impact and jitter of the dryer), and the second half period work begins at the same time (the dryer’s tower B works and tower A regenerates). The process is similar to that of the previous half period.

  • They save energy besides economising purge by reducing the loss of purge to a minimum of 50%.
  • They have controllers with lucid functional displays that are programmable.
  • They secure undisturbed operation despite tower changeovers.
  • The moisture load is lessened by the auto drain valves in pre and oil filters. Therefore the desiccant life is secured without any extra cost.
  • The inclusion of a unique purge economizer in the latest microprocessor based controller which facilitates manual setting up of the dryer load. This device can not only accept upto 3 compressor load/unload contacts but also compute the dryer load dynamically. According to these settings done, the purge can be set. Also, the purge air can be controlled according to the pressure input accepted by the controller.
